What we offer

What a corporate day actually looks like

Written for whoever has to build the agenda, justify the spend and answer the question about wheelchairs. Everything below is what happens as standard.

The shape of the day

0:00

Arrival and brief

Everyone gathers at one point — a venue, a square, your office lobby. The facilitator sets the premise in about five minutes, then draws teams of four to six. We randomise across departments unless you tell us not to.

0:15

Teams scatter

Each team gets a different starting location, so nobody is queuing behind another group. From here they are moving through the city on their own route.

0:20

The route

Locations unlock as teams arrive. At each one there is a character to question, something to notice, and a decision that changes what they get next. The facilitator moves between teams; everything else is on their own phones.

2:00

Regroup

Everyone comes back to one place. Teams compare what they found — this is usually the loudest part of the afternoon.

2:15

The finale

Each team commits to an answer in front of the others. Scores, the reveal, and whatever award ceremony you want on top of it.

Two and a half hours door to door is typical. We can compress to ninety minutes for a conference slot, or run longer with a meal built into the finish.

What it actually does

People talk to colleagues they never talk to

Teams are drawn at the brief, not self-selected. Left alone, everyone stands with the people they already sit with.

The clock forces delegation

There is more to do than one person can cover, so a group either splits the work or runs out of time. Most groups learn this at about the forty-minute mark.

Disagreement becomes useful

The evidence is deliberately incomplete. A team has to argue, then commit anyway — which is closer to their actual job than most exercises get.

The quiet one wins

It rewards noticing and listening, not volume. Watching a team realise who their best analyst is tends to be the part people mention afterwards.

We don't sell psychometrics, personality types or a report on your team's communication style. It's a good afternoon that happens to make people talk.

Logistics, access and risk

Accessibility

Every route has a step-free variant. Anyone who would rather not walk far can play a seated role from a fixed location, receiving information from teammates and doing the reasoning — which is often the winning job. Tell us at booking, not on the day, and nobody has to announce anything in front of colleagues.

Weather

It runs. Every city has an indoor-weighted variant that spends more time in covered locations, and we agree which version we're running with you on the morning.

Insurance and risk

Public liability cover is in place and certificates are available on request. Risk assessments and method statements are written per route and per city, and we will complete your own supplier forms.

Numbers and cancellation

Minimums and maximums vary by format — see the table above. Final numbers confirmed five working days before. Rescheduling is free up to fourteen days out.

Employee data

The app stores a display name and in-session progress. It does not require personal email addresses, it does not track location outside the session, and nothing is shared with you as an assessment of individuals. We can send the full position in writing for your HR or DPO before you book.

How it's priced

Per head, banded by group size — the per-person cost falls as the group grows. A bespoke commission adds a one-off build fee covering writing, characters and the route itself.

What moves the number: the city, whether you want a private venue, catering, and how much of the narrative is custom.

We'll give you a real figure on the first call. There's a minimum spend, which we'll tell you before you spend time on a brief.
