The team day they're
still quoting in March

We turn a city centre into a story your people walk through together. No ropes, no trust falls, no hotel conference room — real streets, live characters, and a problem they can only finish by actually talking to each other.

Straight answer first

What this isn't

Most team days fail in the same three ways. Here's what we do instead.

Not an escape room

You're not locked in a box with eight people and a padlock. The city is the venue, which is why this scales past twelve and why nobody is queuing for a turn.

Not a pub quiz

Nothing here rewards who read the most trivia. It rewards noticing, listening and arguing well — which is usually a different person than you'd expect.

Not a ropes course

No one has to catch anyone. No one has to be sporty, or loud, or twenty-five. The only physical requirement is walking, and there's a seated option for that too.

Occasions

What people book it for

Team building

Cross-department teams are drawn at the brief, so people spend two hours with colleagues they have only ever emailed.

Away days & offsites

The afternoon that stops the day being eight hours of slides, without needing a coach or a country house.

Client entertaining

Doing something together beats watching something together. Clients talk more over a shared problem than across a dinner table.

Conference add-on

Runs in the gap on day one. Delegates who arrived as strangers come back to the venue with something to talk about.

New joiner cohorts

A graduate intake learns the city and each other at the same time, which is faster than either separately.

Summer & Christmas parties

Something to do before the meal, so the room is already warm by the time anyone sits down.

How it works

Four steps, one of them yours

01

A twenty-minute call

What the occasion is, how many people, which city, roughly when. We will tell you on that call if we are not the right fit.

02

A written proposal

Two format options, a city, a per-head number and what is included. Not a range that moves later.

03

We run it

A facilitator on the ground, everyone playing on their own phone, teams moving through the city on their own routes.

04

You get the record

Photos, the leaderboard, and a written account of the route each team walked and what they found.

Included

The things you'd otherwise have to ask

Everything here comes as standard. If you need something that isn't listed, it's usually a yes.
  • A facilitator on the ground for the whole session
  • Everyone plays on their own phone — nothing to install for most
  • A step-free route variant on every experience
  • Wet-weather contingency, decided with you on the morning
  • Public liability cover; RAMS on request
  • PO numbers, 30-day invoicing, supplier onboarding forms
  • Venue and catering coordination if you want the finish handled
  • A written position on what the app stores about your employees

Questions

The ones we always get

How many people can take part?

Eight to around five hundred. Teams of four to six play in parallel across the same city, so scale is a question of how many facilitators we bring, not how big a room we can find.

What does it cost?

Priced per head and banded by group size. A bespoke commission adds a one-off build fee. We give you a real number on the first call rather than a range that moves later.

What happens if it rains?

The route runs anyway — this is Britain. Every city has an indoor-weighted variant with more time in covered locations, and we make the call with you the morning of.

Is it accessible?

Every route has a step-free variant, and anyone who would rather not walk far can play a seated role from a fixed location with the rest of their team feeding them information.

How much notice do you need?

Two weeks for a ready-to-run experience, two to three for a mystery game, six to eight for a bespoke commission.

What if you don't cover our city?

Tell us anyway. A bespoke commission can be built anywhere we can walk a route, and a new city is a normal part of that work.

Tell us about your event

Twenty minutes on a call and you'll have a format, a city and a per-head number. If we're not right for it, we'll say so and tell you who is.
